URLCROP Terms of Use

1. Introduction

Welcome to urlcrop.org, a service provided by Micro-entreprise Nathan Mabile EI (“we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our URL shortening, QR code generation, and analytics services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Accounts & Registration

1. Registration. To use certain features of the Services, you must register for an account by providing a valid email address and password or by signing in with Google.
2. Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Termination by User. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your right to use the Services immediately ceases.

4. Subscription Plans & Payments

1. Plans. We offer three plans:
   • Free: Basic URL shortening and QR code generation with limited analytics.
   • Premium: Enhanced analytics, custom domains, and higher usage limits.
   • Ultra: All Premium features plus priority support and advanced integrations.
2. Billing. Subscriptions may be billed monthly or annually. All fees are stated in euros (€) and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
3. Payment Methods. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
4. Price Changes. We may modify subscription fees at any time, with notice to you at least 30 days before new fees apply.

5. Use of the Services

1. Permitted Use. You may only use the Services in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.
2. Prohibited Conduct. You agree not to:
   • Use the Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
   • Post, transmit or store any content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others;
   • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
   • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services or other accounts.

6. Data Collection, Privacy & User Responsibility

By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent that we collect and process the following information for each shortened URL click or QR code scan:

• IP address
• User agent (browser/OS details)
• Device type
• Timestamp of click/scan

The collection, storage, and use of any personal data obtained through clicks or scans is solely the responsibility of the user who creates or shares the link or QR code. It is your duty to ensure that you have provided proper notice and obtained any required consents from individuals whose data you collect, in compliance with all applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR).

7. Intellectual Property

All content and software on the Services, including trademarks, logos, and designs, are our exclusive property or licensed to us. You may not use our marks without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

1. No Warranty. The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
2. Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Services, including any claims related to data collection by users.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Micro-entreprise Nathan Mabile EI, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms, including any claims related to data collection by your links or QR codes.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, internet outages, or other force majeure events.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases.

12. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Services. Continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute arising under or relating in any way to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Agen, France.
